 EXPERIENCE

·         Twenty four years in progressive accounting positions with a publicly traded mining company on both the TSE and NYSE exchanges with revenues to $USD 50 mm/yr.  Company also has significant international  (Zambian and Mongolian) assets, and as such, familiar with all cross-border tax and accounting issues, such as GAAP, SOX, VAT and IFRS.
  • As a lead Accountant, responsible for all Accounts Payable, Accounts receivable, cash requirements, maintaining the General Ledger, Provincial HST rebates, and ensuring several Canadian field offices in Ontario and Saskatchewan conform to the Company standards.
  • Manage all Payroll functions for Directors and non-arms length corporate entity.
  • Analyze, examine, and interpret records,
  • Compile financial information, and reconcile reports and financial data.
  • Perform process analysis, ensure and maintain Cash as required for planned expenditures and communicate recommendations to management.
  • Process journal entries and perform corrections to ensure accurate records.
